Yesterday, I signed up for Wattpad.
I don’t know why I did it, but now I have a profile or something like that. I may end up deleting my profile again since I have no idea what I’m doing.
At first, when I posted two of my stories, they suddenly got mixed up with each other and then one of them disappeared in the middle of me copying and pasting some text.
Man, the glitches are real and it’s so annoying to work with sometimes. I was going to quit and call it a day, but I stuck with it. I don’t know how well this will work out for me in the long run. Probably bad…
My stories were never really popular to begin with, even though the first novel did quite well. I sold more copies of Nightmarish Reality than I ever dreamed of. It’s not enough to quit my day job and buy me my own private island… I wish.
It’s been like that for years, and yet I still keep on writing, even though it’s not much nowadays. It’s more of a love it or hate it kind of relationship. Unfortunately, there’s no in between. What I’ll probably do is end up leaving some chapters at Wattpad for a couple of weeks or months, even after the Free Book Promotion.
Wattpad changed a lot of stuff on their site from what I remembered before. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. Will I ever submit my story to a contest at Wattpad? Hell no. I’ll stick to doing what I do best and that’s staying on the sidelines and working in peace.
Don’t get me wrong. I’d love to have a large fan base someday. However, there’s also just too much pressure lately. I posted sample chapters of all three books though: Nightmarish Reality, Nightmarish Revelations, and Nightmarish Reaction.
Once again, Nightmarish Reaction hasn’t been published yet. I still don’t know if I’ll publish it. The other previous books have been completed, which is good. Depending on how the book promotion goes, I’ll decide if I should ever finish or complete this series.
Other new and future projects that I’ll be working on, especially the graphic novel, I may not have any big special promotions at Amazon. It’ll be too much of a risk and quite costly. We’ll see how it goes and I’ll try to come up with a better plan of action next time.
If you want, please check out Amazon to buy both novels for free while you still can.
